The District 3 office of the Ohio Department of Transportation has closed State Route 57, between Interstate 76 and Blake Road to replace two ditches.
When the current project on Route 57 is completed, the second project will begin. The second project on 57 is located just north of Blake Road.
It’s expected that work crews will be out of that area by April 21. The detour for northbound motorists is to take 57 to I-76 west to Route 3 north to 162 east to 57. The detour is the opposite for southbound motorists on 57.
Later this year, work crews will return to State Route 57 for a repaving project in the Wadsworth Township area.
