The Wadsworth Police Department wants to remind residents and motorists not to leave valuables in plain sight inside their vehicles.
Last week, three cars were broken into near the Planet Fitness storefront on Williams Reserve Boulevard. The owners of two of the cars reported their wallets and tote bags were taken. The owner of a third vehicle reported only some change was missing.
Police believe the thieves broke windows to get in the vehicles, reached in and took what they could see.
Authorities report similar thefts have occured at Planet Fitness locations in Brunswick and Copley.
