The Wadsworth High School girls basketball team continues to be recognized by some young fans in the community.

10-year-old Jake Carbaugh came up with the T-shirt saying (pictured here). He and his 7-year-old brother, Brody, are donating them to the team and coaching staff for winning the State Championship.

Jake came up with the saying while playing basketball with his mom about a year ago. When the Lady Grizzlies won the State Title, mom (Karen) decided it was the perfect time to have T-shirts made.

Donating them was part of the plan to teach the boys about giving back.

“We tell them to think big and dream big,” said dad, Howie. “We don’t want them to be afraid to try out their ideas.”

Initially, the family said T-shirt proceeds would go toward the boys’ college funds, but they are also thinking about some charitable options.

If you’re interested in purchasing a T-shirt, which come in two different colors, you can contact Karen via her Facebook page: http://bit.ly/1RFewEO.
