Wadsworth Community Radio

May 17th was a memorable day for Wadsworth Community Radio. 97.1 FM was inducted into the Wadsworth Older Adults Foundation’s Senior Advocate Hall of Fame.

The Senior Advocate Hall of Fame was established by the Foundation in 2008 to recognize the outstanding contributions and accomplishments of local individuals and organizations which through their actions help enhance the quality of life of older adults in our community.

Soprema Senior Citizens Center Nancy Likens presented Wadsworth Community Radio for induction. She had some kind words to say about us and our mission.
Also receiving awards last night were Cindy McQuown, Hubbell Power Systems and 100+ Women Who Care Medina County.

100-year old Stan Wolczyk was presented with the Leatherman Lifetime Achievement Award.
