There’s been some movement in the long-awaited resurfacing project on State Route 94 in Wadsworth.
At a special meeting of Wadsworth City Council earlier this week, members approved a resolution between the city and the Ohio Department of Transportation to get the project moving. It’s anticipated that the $1.3 million project will be put out for bids next month with the resurfacing beginning in the summer.
The entire length of Route 94 in Wadsworth will get a new surface except for the the area between Smokerise Drive, West Street and Brouse Drive where ODOT will undertake a widening and improvement project this year. That section of Route 94 will be resurfaced once the widening project is completed.
