Friday November 15th was the start of the Salvation Army’s Red Kettle campaign in the city of Wadsworth. The goal for this year’s drive is $70,000.
Among the locations for the Red Kettles are Buehlers, Big Lots, Discount Drug Mart, Giant Eagle and Wal-Mart.
All of the money collected by the Salvation Army in Wadsworth will remain with the local Salvation Army Branch. The money raised help fund the Salvation Army’s efforts during the Christmas Holiday season.
The Salvation Army is still looking for volunteers to ring the bell during the Holiday season. If you’re interested stop by the Salvation Army’s office at 527 College Street. Bring a photo ID and your Social Security card when coming to register.
