Wadsworth Community Radio – Official Contest Rules
1. Eligibility
- No purchase or donation necessary to enter or win.
- Contest is open to all listeners age 18 or older. (Minors may enter with parent/guardian permission.)
- Employees and board members of Wadsworth Community Radio (WCR), its underwriters, and immediate family members are not eligible.
2. How to Enter
- Entries are free and will be accepted through the official WCR Google Form.
- Only one entry per person per contest, unless otherwise specified.
By entering, participants agree to these rules and to WCR’s use of their name on-air and online.
3. Contest Period
- Each contest will state its specific start and end dates.
- Entries received after the deadline will not be eligible.
4. Winner Selection & Notification
- Winners will be chosen randomly from all eligible entries.
- Winner names may be announced on-air and on WCR’s social media channels, as well as partner and/or organization social channels providing the giveaway items.
- Winners will be notified by email. If no response within 48 hours, an alternate winner will be chosen.
5. Prizes
- Prizes are provided by community partners.
- No cash equivalent, substitutions, or exchanges will be provided.
- Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes.
6. General Conditions
- WCR reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend a contest in the event of technical failure or other unforeseen issues.
- By participating, entrants release Wadsworth Community Radio (WCR) and its partners/organizations from liability related to participation or use of prizes.
7. FCC Compliance
- In accordance with FCC Rule 47 CFR §73.1216, Wadsworth Community Radio will fully and accurately disclose contest terms, conduct contests substantially as announced, and avoid any misleading practices.
