Authorities are investigating after a woman’s body was discovered on a conveyor belt at a recycling facility in Summit County Tuesday morning.
According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to Kimble Recycling, located at 8500 Chamberlin Road, around 11 a.m. Nov. 3, following reports that a human body had been discovered.
Investigators say the woman, believed to be approximately 55 years old, was found on a conveyor belt while workers were processing delivered recyclable materials.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities have not determined the woman’s cause of death or released her identity. The investigation remains ongoing.
