Funeral arrangements have been announced for Ryan Chester Milligan, the 36-year-old North Royalton firefighter who died November 2 while battling a house fire in Broadview Heights.
Milligan served more than a decade as a firefighter and paramedic with departments in Newburgh, Northfield, Seven Hills and North Royalton.
Remembered for his courage, kindness and sense of humor, Milligan leaves behind his wife, Laura, and their two young children, Ryleigh Ann and Chester James.
Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 8, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Grace Church in Middleburg Heights.
Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m., also at Grace Church, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
A funeral procession route will be announced when available. Media will not be permitted inside the church.
