Wadsworth Community Radio

Wounded Warrior Project fundraiserThe Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce and Greater Wadsworth Area Chamber of Commerce teamed up last week to raise money for a great cause.

The chambers held a charity bartending event at Spunkmeyers Pub and Crafted Cocktail Company on March 12.

Raffle baskets and other donations brought in $1,038 for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Among the celebrity servers was Wadsworth schools superintendent Andy Hill and State Rep. Steve Hambley.

The Wounded Warrior Project was chosen as the non-profit to benefit from the event by Heather Taylor, Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce’s executive director, as the cause is near and dear to her heart.
