Construction on Wadsworth’s dog park inside Valley View Park began Monday!
The committee, along with volunteers, spent much of the day stretching out chain link fence and measuring.
Next week, benches will be installed and the rest of the fencing should go up.
Roni Leatherman, who heads the dog park committee, says Mother Nature dropping so much rain on us lately has stalled the project slightly.
Wadsworth’s first dog park was supposed to be ready for four-legged friends by the end of this month. Instead, their goal is to have it open to the public by the July 4 weekend.
