Wadsworth Community Radio

As we look back on another year in Wadsworth, one thing is clearer than ever: this community shows up for one another — and we are honored to be part of that story every single day.

At Wadsworth Community Radio, we believe local radio should be more than background noise. It should be a lifeline, a source of connection, kindness, and real hometown impact. And this year, together with listeners like you, we saw just how powerful that impact can be.

One of the moments we’re most proud of was rallying our community around a local family in need of a safe backyard space for their child. Thanks to the generosity of our listeners, business partners, and neighbors, more than $16,000 worth of fencing was donated, transforming their home and giving their child a secure place to play.

That’s not something a big corporate station would ever do. That’s something Wadsworth does. And that’s something you make possible.

Every week, we highlight local nonprofits. We cover Wadsworth High School sports with heart and pride. We lift up hometown businesses. We celebrate the Miracle League, our local heroes, and the small but meaningful moments that make this town special. We share resources for families, shine a light on the helpers, and bring people together, on-air and in real life.

But we cannot do it alone.

As we close out this year, we’re inviting you to support the mission that keeps WCR on the air: Community. Connection. Conversation.

A year-end gift of $50, $100, $1,000 — or any amount that feels meaningful to you helps us continue the work you’ve trusted us to do:

  • Uplifting the stories that matter
  • Supporting local families and nonprofits
  • Celebrating our schools, athletes, and hometown pride
  • Creating real impact right here in Wadsworth

Your generosity directly fuels everything we do, and ensures that Wadsworth Community Radio remains a true community station, built by and for the people who call this place home.

Thank you for being part of our WCR family.
Thank you for believing in local radio.
And thank you for helping us continue to make a difference.

Checks can be mailed or dropped to us at our studio: 102 Main Street – Suite 101 in Wadsworth. We also accept donations (we are a 501(c)3 so a donation could be tax deductible) PayPal and cash.

With heartfelt gratitude,
Wadsworth Community Radio
