WOW! There is so, so, so much family fun this weekend, there’s no way you won’t find something on this list that interests you and your kids!
From a free STEM Family Fun Day to the possibility of winning a free Cleveland Zoo membership, Earth Day events, youth fishing derbies and beyond. You could skip sleep all weekend long and still not make each of these events!
The fishing derby at River Styx Park in Wadsworth is free for kids 15 and younger. Catch fish and win prizes. Bring your own pole and bait Saturday from 8-10:30 a.m.
Don’t forget about Medina County’s Family-A-Fair on Saturday. It’s designed to give the whole family a day of free fun and learning together. Complete with a variety of crafts, games and entertainment, every child will walk away with something! It all takes place at the Medina County Fairgrounds on April 25 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m.
It’s also Healthy Kids Day at area YMCA’s. Each YMCA will host different activities including giveaways, games, crafts, snacks and local vendors. It’s free and open to the community. Wadsworth YMCA’s healthy kids day is from 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 25.
