The Wadsworth Grizzlies Baseball team has started the 2019 season with three straight wins. On Wednesday March 27th, Wadsworth edged by Highland 2-1. Even though the Grizzlies committed 5 errors in the game, two runs on offense was enough to get the win.
The winning pitcher for Wadsworth was sophomore Nolan Kubilus, getting his first victory. Nolan pitched 5 innings, gave up no earned runs and struck out 7. Relief pitcher Junior Chase Diosy got his first save.
