sale signIt’s time to clean out your attic and basement! You can drop off your unwanted goodies July 9 (from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and July 10 (from 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.) at Wadsworth Middle School for a huge rummage sale this weekend.

“You don’t even have to leave your car because we have high school students there who will lug everything for you,” said Cathy Hall, with the Older Adults Foundation of Wadsworth.

Proceeds benefit the SOPREMA Senior Center.

Organizers can accept almost anything, including housewares, electronics, clothes, books, jewelry, toys and antiques. They don’t need box TV’s, old computer monitors, major appliances or large furniture.

Hall said the actual rummage sale is Saturday, July 11, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Wadsworth Middle School. Members of the SOPREMA Senior Center get first dibs on the sale items. The early bird special begins at 8:30 a.m.

There will also be a bake sale at the rummage sale including homemade pies, cookies, cupcakes and desserts and ice cold beverages.
