Polls will be open until 7:30 p.m. as voters cast a ballot in over 8,800 precincts across Ohio today for the presidential primary election.
Voters will have the opportunity to cast a ballot for presidential candidates, U.S. and state senators, congressional and state representatives, judges, central committee representatives along with several county offices.
Ohio is a key battleground state. Presidential candidates include Donald Trump, Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Ohio Gov. John Kasich. On the Democratic side, it’s Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
Voters planning to cast their ballot in person today need to remember to bring proper ID. A list of acceptable forms of identification can be found here on the Secretary of State’s website.
