Nominations are being accepted for the 2018 induction class for the Wadsworth Senior High School Sports Hall of Fame.

The objective of the Wadsworth Sports Hall of Fame is to recognize those individuals who have made outstanding contributions and/or brought recognition to the Wadsworth Community through sports activities. The Wadsworth Sports Hall of Fame has established a selection process for the candidates, pass upon the final selection of the candidates, and disseminate through the media the selection of the WSHOF inductees, banquet information and nominating process.

Nominations for the next class will be taken until October 31st, 2017. There are 250 members of the Wadsworth Sports Hall of Fame. The WSHOF began some 40 years ago.

Nominations can be made online by going to the School District’s website at www.wadsworth.k12.oh.us and click on the athletics prompt in the Student Activities section.

Induction Ceremonies for the next class will be held in November 2018 at the Galaxy Restaurant.
