Are you ready for Black Friday? Well, we hope so because it’s just over a week away. But no matter how much preparing you do, how do you know you’re really getting the best deal out there? Thanks to a new survey by WalletHub, you don’t have to worry, because they’ve put in the work to make sure you know which stores will offer the biggest discounts in order to maximize your Black Friday experience. Because if you’re gonna brave the crowds, it better be worth it.
WalletHub looked at 8,000 deals from 30 of the country’s biggest retailers and department stores to determine their best bets. And it looks like if you want to save the most money, your first shop should be JC Penney, where shoppers can expect to save 68% on their purchases.
Online shoppers will also do well at Groupon, where the discounts will save them 63.7%.
Other stores with great savings include:
•Kohl’s (66.7%)
•Stage (63.9%)
•Belk (59.5%)
•Macy’s (56%)
•Kmart (50.1%)
As for stores with the worst discounts, those seems to be stores where the prices are pretty discounted to begin with. Overall, Costco has the lowest discounts at only 19.5%, followed by another warehouse store, Sam’s Club (24.9%). Online, Amazon offers the worst discounts at only 25.8%

As for what items will have the most discounts, there’s great news for parents because it’s toys. In fact, almost 23% of Black Friday discounts will be on toys, with the average discount being around 38%. As for the best specific discount, that will be on jewelry, where people will save a whopping 73%.
