During the First Friday event on Friday July 6th, the city of Wadsworth accepted a special gift.

An unveiling ceremony of unique watercolor paintings by Homer Baldwin was donated to the city of Wadsworth. Mayor Robin Laubaugh accepted the paintings from Mrs. Baldwin, sons Tom and Scot and their families.

The paintings will be displayed at the Dave Cordas Gallery in Downtown Wadsworth. After a few weeks, the paintings will be used in a ‘traveling exhibit’ around Wadsworth. The permanent home for the paintings will be the Johnson House, which is the home of the Wadsworth Historical Society. .

Mr. Baldwin passed away in 2009.
