The Ohio High School Athletic Association has released its weekly High School Football Computer Poll. Following games played in Week 7, the Wadsworth Grizzlies moved up two places from 7th to 5th in Division 2 Region 6. The Grizzlies defeated Cuyahoga Falls 33-2 to improve their record to 5-2 overall and 3-1 in the Suburban League National Conference.
In Region 6, Avon is in first place, followed by Maple Heights, Benedictine, Olmsted Falls and Wadsworth. Rounding out the Top 8 are Avon Lake at number 6, Brecksville-Broadview Heights at number 7 and Amherst Steele at number 8. Barberton is 9th, Parma Padua Franciscan is 10th, Midview is 11th and North Royalton is 12th.
This Friday night, Wadsworth is on the road traveling to North Royalton to play the Bears at Serpentini Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 o’clock. The game will be broadcast on Wadsworth Community Radio.
