Three violent fugitives were arrested within 24 hours on March 26 in Cleveland and Akron, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
Members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force took three suspects into custody, two wanted for homicide and one for attempted murder.
In Cleveland, authorities arrested Devin Terrell Robinson, 22, who was wanted for aggravated murder in connection with a February stabbing that left a 31-year-old man dead. During that operation, officers also arrested Joshamee Transou, 28, whose charges were upgraded to attempted murder following a 2023 shooting.
In Akron, Philip Mayfield, 39, was arrested in connection with a March 18 incident in which he is accused of running over a man with his vehicle. The victim later died, and the charges were upgraded to homicide.
U.S. Marshal Pete Elliott said the arrests help bring justice to victims and remove dangerous individuals from the community.
