Rain or shine, downtown Wadsworth storefronts will be lined with vendors Saturday, May 16, for the 21st annual Craft & Herb Festival.
Diane Ollom, who has been organizing the event for the past 10 years, said 100 vendors will be setting up their crafts for you to peruse and purchase.
“The Craft & Herb Festival takes a year to plan,” Ollom explained. “There’ll be something fun for everyone in the whole family.”
The day is filled with food, artists, goodies and music from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
“Farmers, plants, flowers, jewelry, all kinds of wood crafts, artists and painters, potters will all be at our event,” Ollom said, who is particularly excited about seeing one vendor’s work.
“He uses old tires, paints them and makes them look like eagles or roosters to decorate your front yard with.”
The streets will not be roped off so you can park along them. You can also park in the lots behind Sonnets, Ritzman Pharmacy and others if you don’t mind a short walk to the event.
