The Wadsworth Lady Grizzlies continue to move on in the Girls State Basketball Tournament. At Medina High School Monday night, Wadsworth defeated Cloverleaf 61-38 to advance to the district finals Thursday night.
Jodi Johnson led the way for the Lady Grizzlies with 26 points. Aubrey Virgin added 18 points. Wadsworth broke the game open late in the fourth quarter with a 16-2 run after the Colts closed the gap to 45-36.
The Lady Grizzlies record on the season is 21-3.
Presale tickets will be on sale in the athletic office Tuesday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults/seniors and $4 for students. All tickets are $6 at the door.
