During her State of the City Speech on Wednesday, Mayor Robin Laubaugh presented the Key to the City to artist Paulette Grubb.
Paulette painted the first murals of the Main Street Wadsworth Project in Bicksler’s Alley and has painted numerous works for Akron Children’s Hospital and other health care institutions.
Giving someone a key to the city is a way for a community to honor someone for their actions/contributions.
