It was a successful Red Kettle Campaign during the recent Holiday season for the Wadsworth branch of the Salvation Army. Lieutenant Mark Baggs of the Salvation Army said the goal for the campaign was $65,000. When all the dollars and center were counted, the Wadsworth branch collected $68,189.85 through the Red Kettle Campaign.

The Salvation Army collected nearly $13,000 in the final three days of the campaign to put them over the top. The money collected in the Red Kettle campaign over the holidays was the most ever.

Lieutenant Baggs wants to thank the volunteers, non-profit organizations and businesses for giving their time to staff the Red Kettles throughout the city of Wadsworth.
