Wadsworth Sgt. Vivian Feke received a Blue Award for a call she responded to on Oct. 27, 2023, where a driver was unresponsive.
She removed the driver from his vehicle with the help of bystanders and determined he needed CPR.
Sgt. Feke performed CPR while a bystander grabbed an AED from the front seat of her cruiser. She continued CPR until EMS arrived.
The driver was subsequently resuscitated with no long-term deficits and later thanked Sgt. Feke for her actions.
