The Wadsworth Volleyball team has made an appearance in the Top Ten in the weekly poll from the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
The Lady Grizzlies are ranked number six in this week’s Division One poll. Toledo St. Ursula Academy is first, Mount Notre Dame is second, Dublin Coffman is third. Ursuline Academy is fourth and Jackson is fifth.
Wadsworth has already defeated a number of teams in the Statewide top poll 20 this season. The Lady Grizzlies have defeated number three Dublin Coffman, number 11 Brecksville-Broadview Heights this season and number 14 Brunswick. Wadsworth’s only loss has been to number 10 North Royalton.
The Lady Grizzlies have three matches this week. Tonight, Wadsworth plays Cuyahoga Falls at Wadsworth Gymnasium. On Thursday, the North Royalton Bears come to Wadsworth for an important Suburban League match-up. Both matches start at 7 pm. On Saturday morning at 11 am, Wadsworth plays at Copley.
