For the third year in a row, the Wadsworth Wrestling team has recorded a Top Five finish in the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s State Wrestling Tournament held in Columbus.
All six Grizzly wrestlers who qualified for the State Tournament finished eighth or better in their weight classes. Jon List (170) finished eighth, Luke Baughman (138) and Dom Loparo (160) finished fifth, Mason Brugh (106) and Landon Hacker (120) finished fourth and Michael North (145) finished third.
Seniors Luke Baughman and Michael North will be heading to college next year. Baughman will wrestle at Indiana University and North at the University of Maryland.
