The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is returning to Akron later this month.
The Summit Metro Parks Foundation will host the event Sat., March 21 at The Nightlight in downtown Akron. The festival features a collection of short films highlighting nature, conservation and environmental stories from around the world.
Showings will take place at 2:00, 2:30, 6:00 and 6:30 p.m., and all screenings will feature the same group of films.
Tickets are $25 for in-person or virtual viewing, with online viewers able to watch the films between March 21 and March 27.
Proceeds from the event will support the Summit Metro Parks Foundation and its efforts to help conserve and protect natural spaces across the region.
