The Wadsworth Fire Department has the ‘Help Wanted’ sign out.

Applications for the Civil Service Test to become a full-time Wadsworth Firefighter/Paramedic can be obtained on the city’s website at www.wadsworthcity.com. The applications must be returned in person to the Human Resource Office at Wadsworth City Hall between now and Friday August 17th during normal business hours.

The test will be given on Thursday August 23rd at 6 o’clock at the Soprema Senior Center.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 36, be a US Citizen, a High School Graduate, have a drivers license, have a favorable driving history, a favorable employment record, a criminal record free of felony convictions and certifications as a Paramedic and a Level II Firefighter.
