Something unique and different. A new clock has been unveiled and dedicated in Downtown Wadsworth. Main Street Wadsworth has handed over The red and black English-inspired Verdin clock is so much more than just a time piece. It has four backlit faces and offers other unique features. The chimes can also provide music at certain times of the day and for special occasions.

The clock system will chime every 15 minutes and it’s complete with a beautiful bell system. The clock stands 14 feet tall and is located at the northwest corner of College and High streets. It was completely funded by a trio of private donors.

The project took two years to complete. It is hoped that the lock will be seen as a gathering place in the Downtown Wadsworth area. At the clock’s base, the names of the donors have been inscribed in stone.
