kids festsIt’s another jam-packed weekend of fun across northeast Ohio. Enjoy the beautiful weather with your family and participate in one of these (mostly) free activities!

Friday is National Doughnut Day. Enjoy a free doughnut from Krispy Kreme or buy a drink at Dunkin Donuts and get a free donut. Ask your local bakery if they are participating.

Enjoy live equine entertainment from Pegasus Vaulting Clubs and the Pegasus All Breed Horse Show for the whole family in Hartville. Pony rides, a petting zoo, inflatables and more Saturday. Details: http://www.pegasusfarm.org/events/family-fun-day.

There are also free family activities at the Massillon Museum Saturday and a duck race and kids fest at the Cleveland Metroparks Chalet, complete with Touch-A-Truck and a whole lot more.

This weekend kicks off some summer concerts in Brunswick outside the Rec Center,  at Mapleside Farms and Sharon Center Circle. The Wadsworth Community Band performs at Buffalo Creek Retreat at 7 p.m. Sunday. There’s  also Jazz Under the Stars at Medina Public Square from 7-9 p.m. on June 6. Don’t forget about Rally in the Alley in Medina June 5 in Public Square from 7-8:30 p.m. and 9:30-11 p.m.

The city of Richfield is hosting its huge community garage sale on June 6 beginning at 9 a.m. Roughly 122 homes are participating.
