Agrilling, hamburgers, hot dogsre you planning to host a July 4 barbecue and worried it’s going to break the bank?

According to the American Farm Bureau Federation it shouldn’t set you back too much. In fact, the group’s informal survey suggests a summer cookout for 10 should really only cost about $55.84 (or $5.58 a person), which is 3-percent less than last year.

So what will you be serving at this cheapie barbecue? Well, the AFBF claims their menu for 10 consists of eight hot dogs and buns, eight quarter pounds of burgers with buns and cheese, four pounds of pork spare ribs, three pounds of deli potato salad, 28 ounces of baked beans, 15 ounces corn chips, two quarts each of lemonade and chocolate milk, four pounds of watermelon for dessert, and ketchup and mustard.

So, what does your barbecue look like? Share it with us in a comment below!
