The Ohio High School Athletic Association’s Weekly Football computer poll has been released following the games of Week 8. The poll has good news for the Wadsworth Grizzlies.
In Division 2, Region 6, Wadsworth moved up one place to fourth this week following their 66-40 victory over North Royalton last Friday night. The Grizzlies record is now 6 wins and 2 losses.
Here are the top 8 teams in Division 2 Region 6: Avon is first, Olmsted Falls is second, Avon Lake is third and Wadsworth is fourth. The remainder of the top 8 includes Brecksville-Broadview Heights at five, Maple Heights at number 6, Benedictine at number 7 and Wooster at number 8.
This week, Wadsworth hosts Twinsburg Friday night at Art Wright Stadium. Kickoff is at 7 o’clock. You can hear the game on Wadsworth Community Radio.
