The Lady Grizzlies with an upset victory last night as they defeated the 10th ranked team in the State Archbishop Hoban 36-33 in the Division One Medina District semi-finals. The difference in the game was a suffocating Lady Grizzlies defense in the fourth quarter. Wadsworth held Hoban without a basket in the final period, outscoring the Knights 12-2. Kylie Batey led the Lady Grizzlies with 11 points. Wadsworth will play Canton McKinley Thursday night at Medina High School for the District Championship and a trip to the Sweet 16.
