There was both good and bad news for the Wadsworth Varsity Boys Basketball team on Tuesday night.
The good news, senior point guard Carson Risher returned to the line-up. The bad news, Brecksville-Broadview Heights defeated the Grizzlies 68-48.
You may remember Carson was injured in Week 7 of the Football season, suffering a broken fibula, fracturing three bones in his left ankle and ligament damage. His walking boot came off right before Christmas. After a number of practices, Risher returned to the basketball court on Tuesday night.
Risher’s first action on the Coach Dave Sladky Court at Wadsworth High Schools will be on Friday Night when the Grizzlies host the Hudson Explorers in a Suburban League game.
