The middle of the work week has been dubbed “Wadsworthian Wednesday” by morning show co-hosts Matt and Tina. Each Wednesday, someone who graduated from Wadsworth (or has deep ties to this wonderful city) chats with us near or far about what they’re doing now and their love for Grizzly Nation.
This week, we caught up with Bill White, a 1970 WHS graduate turned musician. “The Original Rocker” moved to Texas about 30 years ago but misses his hometown, saying he plans to return to Wadsworth in the next year or two.
At a young age, Bill’s love for music began. His first paid gig was in junior high when he played at the old rec center downtown that was just recently demolished.
“I’m inspired by the Beatles,” Bill shared with us. And his music showcases that. You can check out some of Bill’s music on his website: https://theoriginalrocker.com.
Bill writes and records his original songs in his home studio. He plays all the tracks, guitar, keys and uses electronic drums on the keyboard for drum parts. He also does all the vocal tracks. Friends, Bill is one talented man and we hope to meet him when he moves back to this place we all call home.
