Athletes from all of the Wadsworth High School sports teams will be going door-to-door on Aug. 7, taking part in the patron drive, a fundraiser for the Wadsworth All-Sports Booster Club.
Mary Linn is president of the club and says there will be 94 routes established to cover Wadsworth, with six athletes per route, dressed in their uniforms, seeking donations.
Households in Wadsworth will get a knock on their door from the athletes, who will be accompanied by adults as well.
There are multiple ways to make a donation, including cash, check, PayPal and Venmo.
Last year, the patron drive raised $37,000 for Wadsworth athletics!
