The #BeKindWadsworth committee held a contest at the school level and recently picked a winner.

Sophomore Bailey Fetterolf won the Be Kind Wadsworth logo contest with the design pictured. She wanted to create something that would be easy to read and visually appealing.

“I’m very happy to be able to provide for the City of Wadsworth through my art,” Fetterolf told the Wadsworth Bruin.

The logo will be used on merchandise and sold as a fundraiser for Be Kind Wadsworth. It will also be featured on Be Kind Wadsworth posts/website, etc. Some Be Kind stickers are currently being printed.

One of the Be Kind Wadsworth members, Chris Tackett, said she is leading an effort to organize an all-inclusive event at Memorial Park in June. All residents, including kids and older adults, will be welcome. There will be forest therapy walks, yoga, games, a collaborative art project and community outreach and activities. More details will follow as they become available.
