The City of Wadsworth administration has authorized Wadsworth Police Department employees to participate in No Shave November for not only November, but for December as well, doubling the ability to raise support and funds for 35-year old Austin Lupercio and his family.
Austin, a Wadsworth resident and military veteran, is suffering from a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.
Starting next month, be prepared to see male employees in the Police Department with facial hair, and female employees with a cancer awareness emblem on their uniform (still to be determined). Each employee must pay $30 to participate per month with every dollar going toward our campaign recipient.
