It’s almost done. The road construction projects at Interstate 76 and State Route 94 and on High Street are reaching their completion date of June 30th.

Wadsworth Service Director Robert Patrick says in the past coulple of months there have been some concrete alterations and asphalt changes.

“You will see the continuation of some work in small areas where after inspection changes were needed” said Patrick. The majority of the work was completed just before the winter season of 2017. The project began back in 2016.

The $12.4 million effort is the most expensive road repair project in Wadsworth’s history. The city, the Ohio Department of Transportation and the contractor will all have to sign off before the project is officially completed.
