At the first Wadsworth City Council meeting in February, members approved the 2019 Road Improvement Program on first reading. 21 streets in Wadsworth are scheduled to be repaired along with portions of other roads.

The city anticipates using three to four contractors to complete the program. Wadsworth City Officials hope to finish the program in the summer so they don’t have to worry about the fall weather.

Among the streets scheduled for Asphalt Resurfacing and Repairs are: Baird Avenue, Gordon Avenue, Overlook Avenue, Humbolt Avenue, West Walnut Street, Highland Plac, Fairview Avenue, Hillsdale Circle, Amy Way, Takacs Drive and Seville Road.

Streets scheduled for Pavement Preservation are: Parkview Avenue, Westgate Avenue, Ringer Street, Hartman Street, Bartlett Street, East Good Avenue and South Avon Street.

Streets scheduled for Concrete Slab and Joint Repair are: Ault Street, Householder and Summit Street.

Plus, various other streets in Wadsworth are scheduled for crack seling.
