College Street from Leatherman Rd. to Trease Road is temporarily closed to traffic beginning on Monday, August 6, 2018.
The closure is necessary because of safety concerns to both construction workers and the traveling public while Dominion’s contractor is onsite installing two gas mainlines along College St. The work is anticipated to take approximately 2-3 weeks to complete.
During such time, the road will be open to traffic at night and during days when the contractor is not onsite working.
Detour signs will be posted and traffic will be maintained in that area.
