‘Meet Up’ at Wadsworth Dog Park on Saturday – Wadsworth Community Radio

Wadsworth Community Radio

Piper, Wadsworth Community Dog ParkDo you want to meet fellow canine lovers in your community? Here is your chance! The Wadsworth Community Dog Park Association is holding its very first “Meet Up” at the Wadsworth Community Dog Park from noon – 3 p.m. on Saturday (Sept. 12).

Get to know your Wadsworth Community Dog Park Association members and find out the latest ways you can help/volunteer at your local dog park.

There will be a few special guests including Ken McCourt, a local professional dog trainer, to demonstrate and educate on proper social behavior and etiquette at the dog park. Maggie’s Mission, who has been rescuing dogs with ill fate for over 10 years in northeast Ohio, will also be at the meet-up. Maggie’s Mission will have wonderful dogs with them looking for homes.

The Pet Boutique Two will also have a table set up and will be raffling off a full groom, full bath, and self service bath gift certificates to benefit the dog park. Tickets will be $1 each or 6 tickets for $5. They will also have brick forms available if you haven’t gotten your brick to help pave the way to the dog park.

Remember, dog park rules still apply to this event. Please leave any small children at home that are under 45-inches.

Hope to see you there: WOOF, WOOF!
