The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) will begin providing data on the number of individuals who have received their second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine starting today, February 2, 2021 on the vaccine dashboard.

The dashboard will have a drop-down menu at the top of the screen that allows the user to choose between ‘Vaccine Started’ and ‘Vaccine Completed.’ If ‘Vaccine Completed’ is chosen, the view will change from ‘Vaccine Started’ to ‘Vaccine Completed’. This allows the user to view second dose information by age group, race, ethnicity, and sex. The information is available by county as well as the date of vaccine administration.

“The second dose of the vaccine is very important because it further boosts the immune response to ensure long-term protection,” said ODH Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bruce Vanderhoff. “Showing this data on our dashboard will help show how many Ohioans are protected from COVID-19.”

The ‘Vaccine Started’ view also shows the number of individuals who have received at least one vaccine. This means that individuals who have completed the vaccine series are also included in the ‘Vaccine Started’ view.
