Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home will offer a new and free service available to anyone who wishes to receive emails of current obituaries for those the firm is handling.

“This great idea was suggested by a Wadsworth resident and we agreed that it would be a great service to provide,” said Belinda Rospert. “With so many people who travel, especially to warmer climates in the winter, we can help them keep in touch with what’s going on back home. It also helps those who have moved away keep informed of who has experienced a loss.”

An email will be sent out at least once weekly with the most recent obituaries. The long-term plan is to send out the current obituaries Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Hilliard-Rospert staff said the email list will be kept private with the funeral home and never sold or given to others.

“With the increased use of electronics and the desire to keep up on information, it is the right time to take things to the next level,” Belinda explained. “As our motto says, ‘Serving and Caring Since 1902’, we want to continue to serve and care as the world around us changes.”

Each individual wanting to receive the email can sign up at www.HilliardRospert.com.

“Should someone wish to no longer receive the messages, all they will have to do is call the funeral home at 330-334-1501 or email the funeral home at Office@HilliardRospert.com and request to be removed,” said Dan Rospert in a news release.
