orange barrelsThe second repaving project of 2015 in the city of Wadsworth will be getting started on Wednesday.

Service Director Robert Patrick says the project will get started on November 11th. If all goes as scheduled, everything should be completed by Nov. 21.

Among the Wadsworth streets scheduled to be repaired and resurfaced include Seville, West Reimer Road, Broad Street, State Route 261, High Street, Woodland and Rosalind.

Crews will start on Woodland and Rosalind. On Woodland, work will take place between Farr and Prospect. On Rosalind, the entire asphalt section of the street will be repaired and resurfaced.

The city is planning to have the repaving work that will be done on High Street and on State Route 261 to be done at night. The heavy traffic during the day on High Street and 261 is forcing the work to be done at night,

The estimated cost of the project is slightly more than $300,000. The passage of an income tax issue back in 2011 to pay for street improvements is allowing this second project to more forward.
