the key church trunk or treatBefore trick or treat begins on Halloween night (Oct. 31) throughout the neighborhoods, The Key Church in Wadsworth is asking you to dress your little ones in their Halloween best for their exciting trunk-or-treat event in the afternoon.

The event will have indoor and outdoor treat areas.

“Kids get to come in and see trunks of cars then come inside and the whole worship center is decorated. It’s a really fun time,” explained Debbie Schofield, with The Key Church.

Their trunk-or-treat event will be on Oct. 31 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. on West Reimer Road.

“We average about 24,000 pieces of candy. Some of it is donated. We figure about 800 pieces per trunk or table. It’s a great time.”

Forecasters are calling for a cloudy day with temps in the 50s. Rain is in the forecast around 9 p.m. so trunk or treat and trick-or-treat should go off without an hindrance from Mother Nature.
