It’s time for the Wadsworth Youth Football annual scholarship dinner. This year’s event takes place at The Galaxy at 6:30 p.m. tonight (July 31).
“We are giving away close to $10,000 in scholarships to former Wadsworth Youth Football players and cheerleaders who are graduating high school and going to college,” said Brian Hall, director of WYF.
Hanford Dixon, a former Cleveland Brown g, known as “The Top Dawg”, will be the guest speaker. Dixon will be signing autographs.
Sports memorabilia and other items will be part of the benefit auction as well.
Between 350-400 people are expected to attend.
