Traffic is flowing smoothly once again on College Street in Wadsworth, between Trease and Leatherman.
The city of Wadsworth has installed a temporary traffic signal system that will allow one-lane of traffic over a culvert that was damaged in April by heavy rains. The city has also laid down new striping, stop bars and overhead lights to better illuminate the area. Besides allowing traffic to flow smoothly through the area, the changes will insure the safety of motorists.
Motorists will not be permitted to make a left turn onto College Street from Trease or Leatherman.
Plans are in the works to replace the damaged culvert later this summer. Funds from the state of Ohio will be used to help pay for that project.
